LAMS is a Learning Activity Management System that claims to ‘change teacher practice and engage student participation in the learning process’ (Professional Educator, October 2005, p. 24) It claims to be different from LMS like Blackboard, WebCT and Moodle in that it manges ‘the flow or sequencing of activities’.
